Welcome to Wyld Pynes

  • Let us leave a splendid legacy for our children...let us turn to them and say, this you inherit: guard it well, for it is far more precious than money...and once destroyed, nature's beauty cannot be repurchased at any price. Ansel Adams

About us

Wyld What?

We bought this property while it was just burned from the 2018 wildfire, and it has since become our beloved home away from home. Nestled at an elevation of 8,300 feet, Wyld Pynes offers stunning panoramic views and an escape from the everyday.

Over the past two years, we've planted over 1,800 trees, transforming the land and creating a sanctuary for both nature and visitors. Our 10-acre retreat is not just a place to stay, but a testament to the resilience and beauty of nature.

The unique spelling of "Wyld Pynes" reflects our playful spirit and the wild, untamed beauty of this place. We invite you to share in the tranquility and splendor of Wyld Pynes. Whether you’re hiking our newly established trails,

enjoying a quiet moment by a rejuvenated grove, or simply soaking in the breathtaking views, we hope you find as much joy and renewal here as we do. Come stay with us and discover the magic that nature’s recovery can bring.
